Bronx, NY, December 2010 – VIP Community Services is sponsoring a FREE Wellness Week from December 6 to December 10 at 1910 Arthur Avenue. Open to the public, there will be workshops on meditation, relaxation, spirituality and substance abuse as well as seminars on stress management, medication management and relapse prevention. Free screenings for depression and other medical issues will also be available.

Each day will begin with a meet and greet at 9 am. From 10 am to 4 pm, workshops, groups and therapy sessions will take place. A daily schedule of events will be available in the main lobby.

The Wellness Week event is open to all, regardless of their health status or needs. Trained personnel from VIP’s dedicated staff will be on hand to lead information sessions, answer questions and make appropriate referrals.
