Dear Friends of VIP:

VIP Community Services is closely monitoring ongoing developments with COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and we are committed to doing all we can to continue key services while protecting our staff and clients.

We are following guidance from the NYC Department of Health, the Governor’s office, and other government agencies. We are strengthening our emergency preparedness as the COVID-19 epidemic continues to evolve.

Some of our programs will see an interruption in services. Others will continue critical services through telehealth to reduce in-person interactions and maintain greater physical distance, while still providing necessary care to our clients. Our Medication-Assisted Treatment Program remains open, as does our health center, wellness program, pediatric services, residential programs, housing, and shelter.

We have implemented protocols to keep everyone as safe as we possibly can, including instituting heightened hygiene requirements, social distancing, screening clients before they enter the premises, limiting and in most cases prohibiting visitors, and working closely with public health authorities as needed.
