Bronx residents took advantage of a vaccination site on wheels in Allerton Monday.
A line going down the block formed as New Yorkers waited to get their first vaccine dose in the parking lot area behind Christopher Columbus High School.
The group administering the vaccines, VIP Community Services, says it had 500 doses and patients chose between Moderna and Pfizer.
The site was established in partnership with the office of Assemblywoman Nathalia Fernandez, who says the area’s zip code, 10469, had high numbers of infection.
News 12 is told the mobile vaccine clinic is heading to Mount Vernon next. It will be back in Allerton to administer second doses
