VIP Community Services attends NA Convention

On February 17, 2018, Janet Camacho, our Clinical Supervisor from the OTP Clinic, together with Sadie Billinger, Patient Advocate, and Ronald Johnson, Clinical Counselor, accompanied a busload of patients to a Narcotics Anonymous Convention at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in White Plains, New York. It was a fun filled inspirational event for the patients. Through their participation in meetings and sharing with others in recovery, they learned about the resources and support systems available. They also were treated to a “recovery play” which inspired them to continue their participation to meet their treatment goals.
