To better serve the Bronx community, we are conducting two forms of COVID-19 testing at our main health center. The two types of tests are:
- Viral test – This is a nasal swab test that tells you if you have a current infection.
- Antibody test – This is a blood test that tells you if you had a previous infection.
For both tests, please call us first to make an appointment. Most insurance carriers cover 100% of the costs of testing, and we offer a sliding fee scale for people who don’t have health insurance. We can also help you enroll in health insurance if you’re currently uninsured.
To ensure the safety of our staff and patients, our waiting areas are regularly deep cleaned, and seating is limited to ensure patients can maintain a safe distance from one another. Everyone present must wear protective masks to help contain the potential spread of COVID-19. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided to you when you arrive at VIP.
